Take Hytz

Take Hytz sells harm-reduction supplements for the party lifestyle — hangover recovery, lung support for smokers, comedown relief. The existing Shopify store had the right energy but the wrong execution. Product images were hardcoded, substance copy was buried in code, and the card layout fought the buying flow. We rebuilt the theme to make everything dynamic, editable, and conversion-ready.

Setting the mood

Three product pouches float above the headline — Sauce Shield, Lung Hero, The Nod — each color-coded to its category. The "Damage Control for Your Modern Habits" headline sets the brand tone immediately: unapologetic, direct, built for people who actually go out.

Trust & Credibility

Earning it upfront

A horizontal trust bar sits right below the fold — FDA Compliant Facility, 3rd Party Lab Tested, 100% Science-Backed Formulation, 0% Proprietary Blends. For a supplement brand selling to a skeptical audience, this isn't optional. Below that, a split section pairs nightlife photography with the brand promise: "Supplements that have your back." No generic wellness language — just direct, honest copy.

How It Works

Three steps, zero friction

A 3-card flow walks buyers through the process: Choose Your Formula, Take Before or After, Feel the Difference. Each card is color-coded with product-line border accents (red for Sauce Shield, blue for Lung Hero, green for The Nod) and topped with lifestyle photography. The cards bridge the gap between browsing and buying — especially important when the product category itself needs explaining.

The Lineup

Products that convert

This is the section we rebuilt from scratch. Each product card pulls its image dynamically from Shopify variant data — no more hardcoded modal images breaking when inventory changes. Substance copy ("For Alcohol," "For Smoking & Vaping," "For Kratom & Opioids") is now editable directly in the theme customizer. Ingredient pills, dosage info, and tiered pricing (Single, 3-Pack, 30-Pack) are all visible without clicking through. The layout sells before the product page even loads.

Social Proof

Real talk from real users

Testimonial cards in a horizontal scroll, each color-coded to the product being reviewed. The reviews are specific — "Took Sauce Shield before a wedding. Actually made it to brunch the next day." — not generic five-star noise. Product names appear below each reviewer, tying social proof directly to purchase intent. The section header "Don't just take our word for it" matches the brand's no-BS voice.
